Wewood's furniture in the center of the stage of climate change discussion

Al Gore, the Nobel Peace Prize 2007 laureate and the main figure of the 2019 Climate Change Leadership Conference, tried out the comfort of our Tree lounge chair, following the steps of the former US President Barack Obama that has done the same in July 2018.

As part of a partnership with The Fladgate Partnership, we have supplied the furniture for the stage of the conference that provides solutions to help the wine industry in mitigating the impacts of a changing climate.

During three days, our Caravela lounge chairs, Hexa coffee/side tables, Bowie sofa and Tree lounge chairs were at the stage of Alfândega do Porto to assure the comfort of the speakers.

The event concluded with a much-anticipated speech by the former US vice president Al Gore, following in the footsteps of last year’s keynote speaker, Barack Obama, who inaugurated the first Climate Change Leadership Conference.
